A paradise in the Caribbean ! |
|
In his journal on the 5th of December 1492 Christopher Columbus wrote, "we have found paradise", as he landed on the Island he called Hispanola meaning small Spain. Beaches and mountains, arid lands and tropical forest; Fauna, flora, turquoise-blue sea and white sand, heat of the sun and warm welcome of Dominican people. You will feel a perfect blend of emotions in Dominican Republic. After Cuba, the Dominican Republic is the second largest country in the West Indies. It is the most diverse landscape wise and is also the most mountainous (the Duarte pick culminate at 3100 m). |

Besides offering its visitors intriguing landscapes, culture and history, the Dominican Republic offers its visitors mainly one thing: a dream vacation. It offers activities for all interests. Places with fun and action twenty-four hours a day exist, as well as quiet places nestled in the serenity of nature for those wishing to relax. |
